The new Taupo Hand mKIII is a versatile, multipurpose extension for a front end loader, digger or skid steer loader. With it’s unique design and patented curvature, the Taupo Hand is designed to handle a multitude of tasks from root raking and forestry grappling to working with large boulders and everything in between.

Redesigned
The new mKIII design was created with maximum practicality in mind with reduced weight and increased strength being the main objective. This has allowed for competitive pricing and the ability of customisation to suit any situation.

​Curved tynes

Working like an extended hand on a front-end loader, the curved tynes at the bottom of the Taupo hand sit almost flat on the ground, which makes it perfect for picking up branches and tree-toppings without digging into the ground.

​

Bisalloy Steel

The Taupo Hand is constructed using high tensile, hardened Bisalloy steel that is able to handle immense pressure and lifting weights.

​

Double clevis   

By using a double clevis hinge system, the jaws are able to open 180˚ making it possible to attain a full load of pit silage. The structural design and curvature of the bottom jaw allows objects such as logs to be rolled into the hand.

​

Backing plates

Made to order backing plates mean the Taupo Hand will fit any loader. There is also an option to reverse-mount to pull logs and scrub toward the operator with full control.

 

Strengthened teeth

With a steel bar running the width of the hand close to the tip, the teeth are supported where there is maximum stress. This also means the hand is not closed too far resulting in damage to the implement.

 

Covered back

The back of the Taupo Hand is completely covered in to prevent damage to radiators from rogue sticks.
